Can you honestly say it's just hard work that gets you merit?

I'm absolutely pessimistic at the moment after a disastrous rendezvous with the brains of the operations. Standing there and trying not to cry while everyone stares at you and quickly tear down something you spent hours and hours trying to make it work is not an easy task. If only I had worn my hair down with a hair to cover my face from humiliation and failure...

how colorful the world actually is

I learned about savants today and how interesting they are. They are so attuned to the perception and how they can recall it in seconds because of the way they see it. The guy they based Rain Man on is AMAZING. Wow I would love to just understand how his mind works.

I would also love to go back to New York and see the guys in the park play chess. Just sit and watch.
